Share the Spirit Yukon – 2025 Campaign

This Christmas, Share the Spirit Yukon will be helping an estimated 600 families and over 1,200 children in 18 Yukon communities. Our goal is simple: to make sure every child wakes up to a gift under the tree and every family has food to share around the table.

For Donors & Sponsors

One of the most meaningful ways to get involved is by becoming a family sponsor. When you register, we’ll match you with a Yukon child or family in need and provide a wish list. To protect privacy, children are identified only by a number.

At this time, our only gift drop-off point is in Whitehorse. Sponsors from outside communities are welcome—you’ll just need to ensure gifts arrive in Whitehorse by December 11th.

Donations

The Whitehorse Firefighters Charitable Society raises funds year-round to support Share the Spirit Yukon, but we cannot do this without the generosity of our community.

Every donation—big or small—helps us:

• Buy food for families.
• Fill in the gaps where gifts are still needed.
• Grow the program so no Yukon child is left wanting at Christmas.

The need has grown over the last six years, even as donations have declined. With your help, we can keep this program alive and thriving.

Volunteer

Our 2025 Elf Central will be located at 206 Jarvis Street (the former 202 Bar/Jarvis Street Saloon/Coasters). Volunteers are essential to making this program possible—whether it’s sorting gifts, wrapping presents, or helping families. Times for volunteers will be placed on our main website and on our social media platforms.
